Around the yard April 27, 2012

While I wanted to go to a park today and enjoy the beautiful weather, there were too many things to do around the house...like fix my car. So instead of pictures around a park I decided to grab the camera around the yard and take advantage of a great day.

A daisy amongst the weeds

Dandelions in our "rock garden"

I did not know we had lilacs in the backyard!

Lilacs from the backyard...
And I found another use for tall shot glasses

We have a lot of pine cones in the yard
And pine cones in the tree out front

Mac liked how this tree looked in the sunlight

Xander spent the afternoon in the window

Tots and Xander in the window, wishing they were outside in the front yard with the rest of us

Xander tried to get out of the house through the window

A neighborhood cat that keeps bothering the dogs

 Mac, with work gloves on?

Yes. Mac is moving rocks! Though I told him many times it looked like he was just moving rocks from one pile to the other. I guess he knew what he was doing because at some point he had more rocks than dirt...

Tots wanted to help fix the car

Andy showing Jake how to replace the thermostat

I'm not sure why but I really liked the look of this stump...

Our guest birds from the backyard

Flowers, a true sign of spring...
No, these are not my flowers but those of a neighbor

Our stalker...
Andy and I noticed this car, parked across the street, down the street...
No one ever got out of it but it was there. Steve went to find out what he was there for..

Not even 5 o'clock and the moon was out

 Jake and Tots

Tots in the back of the truck...

Every time we let Tots out the front door he runs straight to the door of the car,
thinking he is going for a ride

Tots thought he found a way out of the backyard...

But the spot under the fence was too small for him...

 And he couldn't get out...

Xander thought he would try to see what was on the other side of the hole

And there was not enough room for him to see much...
