Bent's Old Fort Trail, April 30, 2012

There is a mile and a half trail around the fort. It was a nice walk, lots of trees, birds and insects...

Mac was an excellent tour guide, reading all the signs along the way

Mac found a stick and proceeded to help the park department cut down weeds along the trail...

I think he hit me just as many times as he hit the weeds

Mac attempted several times to get a rock to skip on the water. 

Unfortunately they just kept plopping straight down.

 

This teepee has seen better days
