Aug 18 Cripple Creek - Veterans Parade

Mac and I went to Cripple Creek for the American Veterans Rally with several different things to do that day. First up was the Veterans Parade.

Perfect place for man's best friend to ride along!

Mac waiting for the parade to start.

Hmm...So the Sheriff's office in Teller county refers to themselves as a "POSSE"...

The on shot of me tat day...In the reflection on Mac's glasses!

Mac asked his we would buy him this car for his 16th birthday...
After thinking very hard the answer was no.

Mac thought this would be a more suitable first car...still not convinced.

Ex-prisoner of war and World War II Vet along with the wife of a former POW who passed away earlier this year.

Now this one was weirder request...
Mac: I want a hat like that.
Me: Really?
Mac: Yeah, then all I need is the cymbals and I will be like the performing monkeys.
Only Mac...

Had to include the friendly clown, if for no other reason than to freak Steve out every time he sees it.

Gold Camp Victorian Society

Yes, he did shoot the gun a few times

Now this is more like the car Mac should get

Mac said this was his favorite car of the morning

View up Bennett Ave as the parade goes by
